July Luncheon featuring Michael Graber from Southern Growth Studio

July 17th, 2009 admin No comments

Our July 15 Luncheon was a great time and featured Michael Graber, a partner from Southern Growth Studio.  Michael talked to us about the 6th “P” in marketing: Play.

His thoughts on how you now need to think about how you can ‘Play’ with your brand were insightful and thought-provoking, and Michael was an entertaining and energetic speaker. You can find out more about Southern Growth Studio and what Michael does at their website.

We had some good photos from this event, as always, taken by Nigel Merrick:

This month we welcome Matt Ryan, Regional VP of Marketing for Harrah’s Casino. Matt’s going to talk to us about Marketing in a Competitive Environment, which is something that any sales or marketing professional can certainly relate to!

This month is unique because the board of directors has decided to allow every Sales & Marketing Society member to bring one guest free of charge! That’s right- if you are a member of the SMS, you can bring a guest to the May 20th luncheon for FREE! I hope that every member is going to take full advantage of this great offer and get some new people into the SMS that would be good prospective members!

Details of the May luncheon are available on the SMS website and you can also register through that link.

May Luncheon Sponsor- Red Rover Company
We are excited to have Red Rover Company as the sponsor for this month’s luncheon. Red Rover is a marketing and communications company, and Lori Turner from Red Rover is on the SMS board of directors. About Red Rover Company:

At RedRover our mission is to break through the attitudes, barriers and processes that hinder your sales organization’s success. Then, we re-engineer your sales organization in the spirit of our RedRover mascot to make it smart, hard-working, confident and loyal.

The result is a sales team ready to dominate its territory and taste success, while you get to savor the profits. Once the sales force is in tip-top condition, and only then, your company is finally positioned to see an attractive ROI from marketing and communications initiatives.

We’ll help there, too. We’ll use what we discovered about your industry, business and sales organization to develop marketing communications that break through a cluttered, noisy marketplace to reach the right people with the right message.
